Shaan & Stitch was born from a family legacy in textiles and a personal belief that a good shirt should get the fundamentals right: fabric, fit and finish.
What began generations ago as a textile trading business has evolved into a new ambition—to create shirts with a distinct identity, thoughtful design and quality that speaks for itself.

Our story begins with a journey from a small village to Ahmedabad, where my grandfather and his brother built a textile trading business through hard work, relationships and years of industry experience.
Their business grew to become an established part of the textile trade, including a dealership for Only Vimal by Reliance. In time, the next generation carried that legacy forward, with my father establishing his own textile trading firm.
Growing up around textiles, I developed a natural connection to the industry. Fabric was never just a material to me. It was something to understand, evaluate and appreciate.
That foundation continues to shape the way I think about clothing today.
My early experience with premium fabrics taught me to look beyond appearance. The way a fabric feels, how it falls, how it holds its structure and whether its quality justifies its price all matter.
After joining the family business and starting my own wholesale textile trading firm, I began thinking about what I really wanted to build. I didn't want to remain only on the trading side of the industry.
My interest in clothing had always been personal. I paid attention to fit, colours, fabrics and the way individual elements came together. I was drawn to pieces that stood apart through character and details, without needing to be loud.
Towards the end of 2024, these interests began to take shape as an idea. I decided to start with shirts: a product that brought together my textile background and my personal approach to style. That idea became Shaan & Stitch.
